In reply to Ripping Away the Bible: The Weapon of the Hippie Movement with ‘Stranger in a Strange World’ – The Overmanwarrior. The answer is no. When Manson was asked the question he said he never read for pleasure. Evidently some of his followers did read Stranger, but there is no indication that Manson based anything from the book. I believe one of the Manson prosecutor's wrote a book that made this erroneous statement.

In reply to ebarocela. Edward, there have been a few other movies made. Most recently, Predestination, based on All You Zombies. There was also a movie based on The Puppet Masters. There have been many discussions concerning Stranger In A Strange Land and also The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress.

Question: In addition to Starship Troopers, has anyone considered or began pre-production on movie version of any other Heinlein novels? Space Cadet, for example, Tunnel in the Sky, or Starbeast?
